GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently Asked Questions

We’ll reach out before your event to check logistics — where our truck and trailer can park, and a safe space to unload the donkeys. We arrive at least 30 minutes early to make sure the donkeys are clean, tacked up, and your drinks or party favors are loaded on time. We ask that there are no loose dogs on the property, as the donkeys are not dog friendly. Once Banjo and Fiddle are out carrying your drinks, enjoy the time with them and your guests!

No — we provide the service to carry them! Drinks, party favors, chips, candy… whatever you’d like to offer your guests. We recommend having the drinks chilled and set aside 30 minutes before our appointment time. The pack boxes are foam-lined to keep drinks from rolling or breaking, and we can include ice packs to keep everything cool. Jelly jars with lids work great for cocktails!

Not at all — we pick up all the donkey poop and take it home with us! We also plan to get bum-bags for the donkeys soon, so there’ll be no mess at all from Banjo and Fiddle.

Yes! We bring donkey-safe treats for your guests to feed them. We just ask that guests only feed the provided treats, since the donkeys can get sick from foods that aren’t safe for them.

We serve the greater Spokane, WA area and travel to your venue. A travel fee of $2.00 per mile applies.

Banjo and Fiddle are people-oriented, calm, and gentle, and they’re accompanied by their handlers at all times. Guests of all ages are welcome to pet them, take photos, and feed them the treats we provide.

Absolutely — the donkeys are happy to wear colors or decorations that match the theme of your event. Let us know what you’re planning when you book!

Three things make event day smooth: parking space for our truck and trailer with a safe area to unload, drinks chilled and set aside 30 minutes before our arrival, and no loose dogs on the property.
